About Us

True North develops and supplies products and components using aluminium, steel, solid wood, veneers, and leather as raw materials. We are a European managed company, based in Asia, with overseas offices in The Netherlands and the UK. Our Clients are: Manufacturers' outsourcing production of their designs to Asia Companies' interested in expanding their product range through in-sourcing. Project specialists using True North to supply furniture solutions for hotels, restaurants, offices, the medical industry, and educational institutions.

Understanding	This all starts with us getting an in depth understanding of your requirements, your market and your specific needs. We do this by visiting your offices.
Our international operations	United Kingdom Since 2005, GMS has been our partner office in the UK, headed by Robert Phillips. Robert is based in Leeds and has been in the furniture industry for over 25 years. He was previously the managing director of one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the UK, and a long term client of True North. The Netherlands In 2009 we established a joint venture sales and marketing operation in Holland with responsibility for Germany, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and German speaking parts of Italy. This is headed up by Jan Ploeg and Evert De Kruijf. Jan and Evert both came from a high end furniture manufacturing company. Jan has a technical background and was in charge of product development, Evert was in senior management. Both Evert and Jan speak fluent German Both offices are available for you to work with on a day by day basis. Their contact details can be found on our contacts page
Other Countries	For other countries we aim to meet you once or twice a year.
People	The picture is completed by the people within True North. Together with the language and cultural awareness of being in Asia, we also have a combined 20 years of industry experience.
ISO Certified	We at True North are a certified ISO9001:2008 organization and our business processes have been designed for us to continuously improve our operations. Our quality policy is "Everyone, operating from the same page" This means: We (customers, True North, supply partners) all agree on the same product specifications, quality specifications, delivery dates.
